Metal equipment’s new interest in the rail division has of recently got two agencies from top railway suppliers from Brazil and India. Partnering with companies which manufacturer of all types of new bogies of different types including container carriers, oil tankers, grain carriers and wagons.
Some of the clients currently services to the Kenya Rail Network by metal equipment are:
- Locomotive exhaust TIG welding using Inconel rods
- Machine older rail wheels to fit new tires
- Sleeper straightening
- Sleeper straightening sample
Metal equipment is focused to bring the bogies as a CKD kit and assemble locally as well as manufacture of various parts locally.
